FAQs
-
I provide individual counselling to children, young people, and adults.
This includes a 50 minute online session at an agreed upon day and time either weekly or fortnightly.
-
I’m trained in the dialogue between the person-centred approach and psychodynamic perspective. Meaning, I aim to offer empathy and unconditional positive regard throughout our work together as we actively explore your past and how it may be influencing your present experiences.
-
When you fill out my contact form (or email me), I will offer you a free 15 minute consultation call via Google Meet. This gives us the opportunity to see whether we are a good fit to work together and iron out the practical details of us working together.
-
If it’s our first session together, we’ll spend time going over my contract and give you the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
If it’s not our first session, we’ll discuss your current experiences/issues that you’re looking to address.
-
I offer in-person sessions at 15 Rosebery Crescent and online sessions via Google Meet.
If we agree to work together online, I will send you a link 24 hours before our scheduled session together.
-
I charge £65 per session. I offer a handful of reduced rates if you’re a student or an education/healthcare provider. Please let me know if this is something you’d be interested in.
I do ask for payment if sessions are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
-
You can reach me anytime via my contact page or email. I aim to respond to all inquiries within 48 hours.

The duration of counselling defers from person to person. Some clients have specific short-term goals that we work towards together in a few weeks or months. Other clients, prefer longer-term work together.
It is ultimately up to you how long you’d like to be in counselling.
